Lifelong friends Ron Passaro and Derek Gregor first met while pursuing their Master's degrees in the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. As writers, composers, and lifelong New Yorkers, they shared a passion for creating things that make people's lives better. Over the years, countless conversations about city living led them to the same frustrating conclusion: buying and selling used furniture and household items in New York shouldn't be so complicated, expensive, or stressful.
